Join the CNY Triathlon Club Inaugural High School Program and become a triathlete in just 7 sessions!
FIRST 8 GET EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO 2-hr Repair/Maintenance Workshop Hosted by Syracuse Bicycle.
Students train individually and as a team beginning in June with certified coaches and volunteers to compete in triathlon and multi-sport races in the late summer. Additional clinics will be offered end of May and early June. Students are welcome to join regardless of participation in other sports or activities. All are welcome. Looking to swim in Green Lakes this summer?
The swim is staggered water start. The swim course will close 60 minutes after the send off of the last swimmer. Historically, the water temp averages is in the mid 60’s. Wetsuits recommended. Cycling and running allowed.
Please note space is limited per session. You must be a member of either the CNY Triathlon Club and/or YMCA Organization.
If you are not a member, you are still welcome to join us for a fee of $20 in addition to a signed waiver.
As with any event, refunds for non-members (due to weather or unforeseen events) are not issued. See Dates below.

Join us at CNY's premier triathlon and a long standing Summer tradition! The Cazenovia Triathlon offers participants a challenging, fun and scenic course along the shores of Cazenovia Lake and through the gentle rolling hills of of Madison County. Races include Sprint and Olympic distances along with Aqua bike and Relay options.
NEW this year is a High School Division.
Track Nights are back! Each week, a certified coach will set a pace-based track workout, lead the group in dynamic warmups, and close with strength and mobility exercises.
The goal of track workouts is to increase strength, endurance, speed, and muscle memory while addressing proper technique and pacing. The sessions last for about an hour.
All ages and abilities are welcome, although adults should be running at least 1-2 miles per week to ensure that the workouts are appropriate.
The program is free and open to all CNY Triathlon members, but you must register and sign the waiver once for 2024.
